WARNING. Flooding is expected in Kincraig to Inverdruie. Act now. Continuing rain across the area means that the River Spey is continuing to rise steadily. Water levels are also rising in the River Feshie. Although we are not expecting the extreme flood levels we predicted yesterday, we still expect the river to reach levels that will cause flooding. Areas that have been flooded before should be prepared for flooding to happen and river levels are not expected to peak until late evening on Hogmanay. Heavy and persistent rainfall from late Friday night and through Saturday may lead to flooding. High levels are forecast for the River Spey during Saturday and into Sunday.
